Since 1979 CRT Labs has been operating as a materials testing laboratory specializing in polymer testing, material failure analysis, plastic testing, accelerated weathering testing and many more. Below is a list of plastics and composites tests currently offered by CRT. These tests are performed in accordance with:
If the Material test, Polymer Test, or Plastic test you need is not listed, please fill out our Guest Book or contact us to discuss your project.
Used to qualify/quantify the physical and/or mechanical characteristics of raw materials
and/or molded plastic material testing.
CPVC, PVC, ABS, & Transition Solvents;
Pipe Joint Thread Compounds; Plastic Pipe Primer Solutions.
Used to pre-qualify the characteristics of both Metal & Plastic Shower assemblies prior to installation.
Faucet & Shower systems are put through
vigorous materials fatigue testing.
Measures and qualifies the capabilities of textiles used in landscaping functions.
Geotextile Testing includes Abrasion Resistance,
Temperature Stability, Grab Strength and more...
Density,Node Strength, Rib Strength, Wide Width Tensile...
A variety of tests are offered for Geogrid materials.
EPA Method 9090a Chemical Compatibility,Qualification of PE Fusion Joints,
Thermal Analysis (DSC) Crystallinity,
Cell Classification of PE Pipe & Compounds
Used to qualify/quantify the characteristics of raw materials
and/or molded parts.Thermal Analysis material or polymer testing
is also done to determine the temperature profile.
Plastic Pipe Testing and Plastic Fitting Testing is Used to qualify
or quantify pipes/fittings before IAPMO, NSF, or CSA can list them for use in the plumbing industry.
Geomembrane Testing is used to quantify the performance of HDPE and other sheet membrane materials. All tests are performed
in accordance with American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), and Geosynthetics Research Institute (GRI) requirements.
Geonet tests provide information on the capabilities of Geonet materials. All testing services are performed in accordance with American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), and Geosynthetics Research Institute (GRI) requirements.
Geopipe tests are performed with plastic pipe used primarily with landfill, landscaping, and similar functions. Additional information on the types of testing services performed may also be found at Geosyntetics Testing.
