The following is a list of our Plumbing & Faucet tests. These tests are used to pre-qualify the characteristics of both Metal & Plastic Shower assemblies prior to installation. Faucet & Shower systems are put through vigorous impulse shocks and are used to qualify the product(s) for long-term life performance. Chrome & Abrasion analyses are extensive and will determine if a coating or substance will last long-term.
CRT has provided links (as shown below) as an aid in understanding some of the common tests used in the Plumbing & Faucet industry. The links explain, in simplified format, the fundamentals of accepted tests used by manufacturers.
